Cape Cod Orthopedics, P.C. is seeking a dedicated and professional Physical Therapist to join our dynamic outpatient clinic team located in Metuchen, New Jersey. In this role, you will work full-time to help patients regain their mobility, improve their physical abilities, and enhance their overall quality of life. This full-time position is based in our outpatient office, where you will engage directly with patients in a supportive and inspiring environment. The clinic operates during standard business hours, from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. You will work alongside an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and administrative staff, creating a cohesive atmosphere focused on effective patient care.

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to establish a clear understanding of their physical condition and treatment goals.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on each patient's unique circumstances, ensuring that therapeutic interventions are effective and measurable.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and cost-effective modalities to enhance patients' mobility, strength, and physical function.
• Incorporate a variety of techniques, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercise, aimed at restoring functional movement.
• Continuously monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Engage patients with motivational strategies that empower them to take an active role in their rehabilitation.
• Educate patients about non-surgical treatment options and lifestyle changes that support long-term health and wellness.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment protocols accurately using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly Web PT.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide a multidimensional approach to patient care, ensuring comprehensive support.

The clinic serves a diverse patient population, primarily focused on individuals seeking outpatient orthopedic care. Patients may range from athletes recovering from sports injuries to individuals rehabilitating from surgery or those with chronic pain. Your expertise and compassionate care will significantly impact their recovery journey, helping them return to their daily activities and maintain an active lifestyle.

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey without any sanctions or board proceedings.
• Strong skills in manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise programming.
• Proficiency in using EMR software, particularly Web PT, for accurate and efficient patient documentation.
• A solid understanding of current physical therapy practices supported by the latest research in rehabilitation.

While we welcome applications from newly licensed practitioners, candidates with prior experience in outpatient orthopedic settings will be highly favored. Experience in developing specialty populations programs or advanced manual therapy training will enhance your candidacy and integration into our team.
