Work Environment

This position requires working onsite at our outpatient office, where you will collaborate closely with other physical therapists, orthopedic specialists, and ancillary staff. Our office is well-equipped with modern rehabilitation technology, exercise equipment, and a supportive atmosphere that encourages knowledge sharing and teamwork. Your work hours will be Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life schedule to promote your overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver personalized physical therapy services to a diverse patient population, focusing on rehabilitation outcomes and patient satisfaction.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to establish individualized treatment plans that address specific recovery goals.
  • Utilize effective therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and guided exercise programs, to enhance mobility and function.
  • Evaluate patient progress regularly and modify treatment plans based on ongoing assessments.
  • Educate patients on home exercise programs and lifestyle modifications to encourage active participation in their recovery.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to discuss patient cases and ensure integrated care delivery.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of treatments and patient interactions using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly Web PT.
  • Promote non-surgical treatment options to improve patient outcomes while minimizing reliance on medications.
  • Inspire and motivate patients to adhere to their rehabilitation programs through encouragement and support.
  • Continuously engage in professional development to stay current with advancements in physical therapy techniques and best practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clientele will primarily consist of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. The clinic serves patients of all ages, allowing you to apply a variety of treatment approaches tailored to each individual's needs. Effective communication and empathetic patient interactions are essential in fostering trust and cooperation throughout their treatment journey.

Qualifications
  • Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
  • Hold an active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey, free of sanctions or disciplinary actions.
  • Exhibit proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and capabilities in developing successful exercise regimes.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with EMR systems, especially Web PT, to ensure precise and efficient documentation.
  • Have a strong foundation in evidence-based practices that can be adapted to meet the unique needs of each patient.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, with an annual base salary of USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience.
