This position is based onsite in our outpatient office, where you will work closely with a team of like-minded professionals committed to excellence in orthopedic care. • Direct personalized physical therapy interventions focused on preventing disability and relieving pain, while improving and restoring muscle function.
• Collaborate with physical therapy assistants to ensure effective implementation of individualized treatment plans.
• Assess client functional capabilities through diagnostic testing, ensuring tailored care that evolves with patient progress.
• Evaluate home environments to maximize client independence and recommend necessary modifications.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, instruct clients on functional movements, and provide motivation to enhance their engagement with therapy.
• Implement treatment techniques such as manual therapy, traction, and the application of physical agents while adhering to best practices.
• Conduct evaluations and adjustments of prosthetic and orthotic devices, liaising with physicians for necessary modifications.
• Actively participate in interdisciplinary team case conferences, contributing insights and strategies for comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation, including evaluations and progress notes, aligned with regulatory standards.
• Provide guidance and education to clients and their families on physical therapy programs, ensuring effective home practice.
• Supervise and mentor physical therapy assistants, fostering their professional growth while ensuring high standards of patient care.

As a Physical Therapist at Cape Cod Orthopedics, you will primarily serve individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and neurological impairments. Our client base reflects a broad age range, from active adolescents to seniors seeking rehabilitation, requiring individualized treatment plans that reflect their specific goals and lifestyles.

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey, with no history of sanctions or disciplinary proceedings.
• Strong expertise in manual therapy techniques and the development of effective exercise regimens.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems, particularly Web PT, for precise and timely documentation.
• A commitment to staying current with evidence-based physical therapy methodologies and best practices.

• Experience in a similar outpatient physical therapy setting.
• Background in working with an interdisciplinary healthcare approach.
• Advanced certifications in specialized therapy techniques or modalities.

The salary for this role ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
