Job Title: Business Systems Analyst IV – Enterprise Capacity Management
Location: Buffalo, NY
Hire Type: Contract-to-Hire (Through May 2027)
Pay Range: Approximately $40/hour (flexible for highly qualified candidates)
Work Model: Primarily Onsite (Local candidates strongly preferred)

Nature & Scope:
Positional Overview
Our client is seeking a Business Systems Analyst IV – Enterprise Capacity Management to support and mature its Enterprise Observability organization and newly established Enterprise Capacity Management program.
This role functions as a critical partner to leadership, serving as the hiring manager's primary operational resource for coordinating enterprise-wide capacity reporting, governance activities, forecasting efforts, and executive communications. The successful candidate will work across numerous infrastructure and technology teams to collect utilization, demand, risk, and forecasting information and consolidate it into meaningful enterprise reporting.
The position requires a blend of project coordination, stakeholder management, business analysis, and reporting expertise. Ideal candidates possess experience within enterprise IT organizations, particularly those supporting infrastructure operations, observability initiatives, capacity planning, or technology governance programs.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized analyst who enjoys translating technical information into business insights and helping leadership teams make data-driven decisions.
 
Role & Responsibility:
Tasks That Will Lead To Your Success
Enterprise Capacity Management Program Support
  • Serve as a key contributor supporting the bank's Enterprise Capacity Management program. 
  • Operate as the primary coordination resource for enterprise capacity reporting activities. 
  • Partner with infrastructure, engineering, and technology teams to gather utilization, forecasting, demand, and risk information. 
  • Consolidate decentralized reporting into a unified enterprise capacity view for leadership consumption. 
  • Support ongoing maturation and optimization of enterprise capacity management processes. 
Program Coordination & Reporting
  • Develop and maintain standardized reporting templates and governance artifacts. 
  • Produce executive-level reporting on technology capacity, utilization, constraints, and future demand. 
  • Coordinate reporting cycles across multiple infrastructure and technology domains. 
  • Aggregate domain-level metrics into enterprise-wide dashboards and summaries. 
  • Ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and adherence to established governance processes. 
  • Assist with KPI development and program maturity measurements. 
Governance & Meeting Facilitation
  • Coordinate and facilitate capacity management working sessions and governance meetings. 
  • Prepare executive presentations, status reports, and decision-support materials. 
  • Capture meeting outcomes, action items, risks, and follow-up activities. 
  • Drive accountability across participating teams and stakeholders. 
  • Ensure governance processes are consistently executed and documented. 
  • Support steering committees and leadership forums with actionable insights. 
Analytics & Business Insights
  • Analyze enterprise capacity data to identify utilization trends, constraints, risks, and optimization opportunities. 
  • Translate technical metrics into meaningful business recommendations. 
  • Develop dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI, Excel, or similar analytical tools. 
  • Support forecasting and demand-planning activities across technology organizations. 
  • Enable data-driven decision making through clear, concise reporting and visualization techniques. 
Stakeholder Engagement & Communications
  • Work closely with infrastructure leaders, observability teams, and architecture stakeholders. 
  • Facilitate discussions regarding reporting expectations, data quality, and governance requirements. 
  • Coordinate efforts across multiple business and technology functions. 
  • Communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. 
  • Build strong relationships with enterprise stakeholders to ensure program success. 
Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting quality, governance processes, and operational efficiency. 
  • Assist with onboarding new technology domains into enterprise reporting frameworks. 
  • Recommend enhancements to capacity management standards and procedures. 
  • Support the long-term evolution of enterprise observability and operational reporting capabilities.
 
Skills & Experience
Qualifications That Will Help You Thrive
Required Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, Project Coordinator, Data Analyst, or related role. 
  • Strong project coordination and organizational skills. 
  • Experience facilitating meetings, documenting decisions, and tracking action items. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. 
  • Experience producing executive-level reports and presentations. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities a
