ABOUT SECUREMEDY, INCORPORATED
Securemedy, Incorporated is a growing provider of armed and unarmed security guard and patrol services, supporting commercial, government, residential, healthcare, educational, and critical infrastructure clients. We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Business Development Manager to lead our expansion efforts throughout the New York City market.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding Securemedy's presence across New York City. This position will identify new business opportunities, cultivate strategic relationships, manage the proposal process, and collaborate with operations leadership to develop customized security solutions for prospective clients.

PROCEDURE:
This is a salaried - exempt, non-uniformed, mid-level management position to be staffed in the following manner:

Monday thru Friday, primarily between the time frame of 0800hrs – 1700hrs, and all other periods based on operational necessities including evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
The Business Development Manager position is staffed at least five (5) days a week, for an average of eight (8) hours a day but must have the flexibility to be available for varying schedules, any day of the week.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Lead business development activities throughout Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, Bronx, and Staten Island.

• Develop and maintain relationships with property managers, facility directors, developers, government agencies, healthcare organizations, schools, and commercial clients.

• Identify and pursue new contract opportunities through networking, prospecting, and market research.

• Coordinate and manage responses to RFPs, RFQs, and other solicitations.

• Prepare presentations, pricing proposals, and capability statements.

• Attend industry events and represent Securemedy professionally throughout the NYC region.

• Collaborate with operations personnel to ensure seamless contract implementation and customer satisfaction.

• Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide regular reports regarding opportunities, forecasts, and business development activities.

• Meet established growth and revenue objectives.


QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree preferred.

• Minimum of five (5) years of business development or sales experience, preferably within the security services industry.

• Demonstrated experience pursuing and winning security contracts in the New York metropolitan area.

• Strong knowledge of commercial, residential, healthcare, shelter, and government security environments.

• Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

• Ability to travel throughout the NYC area.
