Business Development Representative - (Mid-Level or Senior) Executive Transport & Surveillance

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Representative (Mid-Level or Senior) (Level 3 or 4) to join Mobility, Surveillance and Bombers (MS&B). The Business Development & Strategy (BD&S) organization is looking for a team member to join the Executive Transport and Surveillance team who will be responsible for shaping the market and capturing new business for domestic and global customers. This role is based in Oklahoma City, OK.
A successful candidate will have strong industry awareness, possess market environment analysis skills, and can establish and manage partnerships with customers, stakeholders, and suppliers. Additionally, a successful candidate will have strong strategy background and networking skills, business and financial acumen, and the ability to work closely with technical experts.
With the portfolio, this position will support a wide variety of platforms and capabilities both in the United States and internationally, including VC-25B, VC-25A, C-32, C-40, E-4B, and Head of State & Special Mission Aircraft.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Develop marketing and campaign win strategies
  • Manage the entire capture process, including leading strategy development and execution, managing supporting investments and resources, leading a cross-functional capture team, and preparing solicitation responses (RFPs, RFIs, etc.)
  • Initiate and advance customer relationships to be accepted as a trusted business partner by the customer
  • Interface directly with the customer decision makers to shape the market and optimize the business cases for new products, technologies, and services
  • Consult on and influence decisions of Boeing senior level executives regarding business goals and objectives
  • Obtain and leverage detailed understanding of the customers' processes, procedures, techniques, organizations and culture
  • Maintaining an understanding of the domestic and international competitive landscape to include knowledge of competitors' products, services, and activities and their impact on our competitive position has context menu

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • 5+ years of experience in business capture, global sales and marketing or a related field.
  • Experience developing and maintaining close customer relationships
  • Experience both written and verbal, with public speaking and frequent interactions with senior-level management
  • Experience influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and senior leaders across functions

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Experience in the aerospace and defense industry
  • Experience working across large organizations and cross-functional groups to ensure project coordination, implementation and completion
  • Knowledge of Head of State/VIP aircraft missions
  • Ability to present in a clear, concise, and compelling manner
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills as well as relentless attitude
  • Level 3: 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Level 4: 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Summary pay range:
Mid-Level (Level 3) - $86,700 - $117,300
Senior (Level 4) - $112,200- $151,800
