  • Base Salary Range for Asset Owner: starting at $76k yearly plus profit sharing

At Cascades you can develop your full potential, sustainably, by applying your expertise within the Cascades Tissue Group as the Asset Owner. 

  • Coach operators and evaluate performance as part of the annual review process
  • Validate daily performance, production transactions, and time losses
  • Review daily quality results and address any identified issues
  • Share best practices and collaborate with other Asset Owners
  • Conduct Health and Safety audits; develop action plans to maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment; own A-risk mitigation
  • Support DRS action plans and proactively address asset-related time losses
  • Drive continuous improvement of the DRS board to align with evolving operational requirements
  • Coach operators on effective communication across all DRS meetings
  • Support the Lean Leadership and Autonomous Asset Management pillars
  • Develop, review, and continuously improve Cleaning, Inspection, and Lubrication (CIL) processes and ensure effective execution
  • Assess asset performance and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Monitor material consumption and take corrective measures to optimize usage
  • Perform risk assessments and analyze equipment and operational tasks
  • Manage documentation, including the creation, revision, and control of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Own and oversee training for all assets, ensuring capability development and compliance

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Industrial Technology, Engineering or other related degree or a vocational certificate/diploma.  
  • A combination of education and lean manufacturing experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 3+ yearsโ€™ leadership experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a focus on continuous improvement.
