Job description

Elite Workforce LLC is seeking experienced and safety-focused 6G Pipe Welders to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will possess strong welding skills, a commitment to quality, and the ability to perform pipe welding in accordance with industry standards and project specifications. Candidates must be proficient in welding various pipe materials and capable of passing applicable weld tests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform 6G pipe welding using SMAW (Stick), GTAW (TIG), FCAW, and GMAW processes as required.
  • Read and interpret isometric drawings, blueprints, welding procedures, and specifications.
  • Weld carbon steel, stainless steel, chrome, and alloy piping systems.
  • Complete root, hot pass, fill, and cap welds in accordance with project requirements and applicable codes.
  • Ensure weld quality meets ASME, AWS, client, and project standards.
  • Conduct visual inspections of completed welds and perform repairs when necessary.
  • Safely operate welding machines, grinders, cutting torches, and other related tools.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all Elite Workforce LLC safety policies, client requirements, and OSHA regulations.
  • Work effectively with pipefitters, supervisors, quality control personnel, and project teams.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of industrial pipe welding experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to pass a 6G pipe welding test.
  • Experience with TIG root and Stick fill/cap processes preferred.
  • Knowledge of ASME Section IX, AWS standards, and industry best practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and welding procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current TWIC Card.
  • NCCER Certification.
  • Experience in refinery, petrochemical, power generation, offshore, or industrial construction environments.
  • Current OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
  • Multi-process welding experience.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces, elevated locations, and varying weather conditions.
  • Capable of standing, bending, kneeling, climbing, and performing physically demanding work for extended periods.
  • Must be able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
