A CLOSER LOOK UNDER THE HOOD
Our Service Inspectors are at the core of our business and vital to successful day-to-day operations of each of our locations! Below are the primary responsibilities to help you get a feel for a "day in the life."
  • Provides accurate and timely vehicle diagnosis, maintenance and repairs, ensuring customer expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Test drives vehicles before and after repairs to ensure functionality and overall safety.
  • Inspection and repairing customers vehicles to ensure they are in accordance with state requirements.
  • Promotes company culture of cooperation and collaboration among all team members.
  • Assists other teammates with tasks as needed to consistently deliver on our expectation of delivering a wow experience.

THE "NUTS AND BOLTS" NECESSARY FOR SUCCESS
  • Minimum two years of automotive repair experience. (ASE certifications are preferred but not required.)
  • Must have a valid Virginia Inspector license.
  • Must have at least 1 year experience as a Virginia State Inspector.
  • Must have own tools (We offer a great tool purchase program!)
  • Capable of operating machines and equipment used in the automotive mechanic trade -- diagnostic scanner experience is a plus.
  • Strong customer service, organization, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and consistency follow store policies and procedures.
  • Desire and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Authorized to work in the USA and at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Capable of continuous standing, bending, lifting (up to 75 lbs).
  • Authorized to work in the USA and at least 18 years of age.
  • Availability to work on Saturdays.
  • We are focused on safety, but Service Techs should be comfortable with occasional exposure to mechanical hazards and outside weather conditions.

COMPENSATION PLAN
Pay: $40,000 - $100,000+ Effective rate
Our Service Technicians are paid an hourly rate plus commission on all labor - with no cap on commission! (Starting hourly rate depends on experience level and ASE certifications.) Our Service Technicians say our pay plan is the best in the industry with the potential to earn $40,000 - $100,000 annually factoring in your hourly rate, overtime, and commissions!
