Job Summary
Itinerant Teacher Assistant works under the direction and supervision of the Site Supervisor and Child Development Director. The Assistant is responsible in supervising and interacting directly with the children. Assistant will assist the Site Supervisor in facilitating all aspects of the planning, organization, and implementation of the daily program.

The Lake County Office of Education offers the following benefits to regular classified employees:
• Health and Welfare - annual benefits cap in the amount of $17,500 for full-time employees or part-time employees, 6+ hours per day at a prorated rate. Includes medical, prescription, dental, and vision for the employee and all eligible dependents, based on the tier of coverage selected by the employee. Employee out-of-pocket contribution amount will vary based on the selection.
An employee may purchase coverage through a 125-cafeteria plan.
• Longevity Pay (Years: 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35. prorated based on service days/hours)
• Paid Sick Leave (96 hours per year/prorated based on service days/hours)
• Vacation Pay (15 to 27 days/Yr. depending on years of district service)
• Paid Holidays (See District Calendar)
• Retirement plan contributions (4+ hours per day)
• Employer Paid Life Insurance (4+ hours per day)
• Air Ambulance Membership
