Perched 600 feet over the Columbia River, our luxury boutique hotel offers stunning views of the Astoria-Megler Bridge and delivers an unforgettable guest experience with thoughtful design, premium amenities, and unmatched hospitality. Earlier this year, we proudly launched Bar 600, an intimate and stylish venue, and we’re now looking for a talented Bartender to join our growing team.

THE ROLE
Position: Bartender (Part-Time)
Location: Cannery Pier Hotel, Astoria, OR
Compensation: $17/hour + 80% tip share
Schedule: 3 to 4 nights per week. Must be able to work weeknights and weekends as needed | 3:30 PM – 9:30 PM Sunday through Thursday and 3:30 PM to 10:30 PM on Friday and Saturday.

We’re looking for a guest-focused, energetic, and creative Bartender to deliver an outstanding experience at Bar 600. If you love connecting with people, crafting beautiful drinks, and being part of a collaborative team, we’d love to meet you!


WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Deliver fast, friendly, and professional bar service to guests

  • Prepare and serve cocktails and beverages to spec—classic and custom

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked bar environment

  • Engage with guests to ensure a memorable experience

  • Follow all health, safety, and liquor compliance standards

  • Complete opening, running, and closing side work

  • Accurately handle transactions and maintain cash drawer integrity


WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Previous experience as a bartender preferred

  • Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and cocktail recipes

  • Confident communicator with excellent customer service skills

  • Detail-oriented, punctual, and team-minded

  • Able to lift up to 25 lbs frequently and 50 lbs occasionally

  • Ability to stand for long periods and navigate a fast-paced environment

Required Certifications:

  • Valid OLCC Alcohol Service Permit

  • Current Food Handler’s Card
