Job description

Purpose

TRP is a preferred global retail partner that will be opening and operating stores across the US and beyond.

We are looking for a hardworking, goal-oriented individual to join our trim/packaging department.

Trimmers/packagers are responsible executing production plans in keeping with the Company's operating procedures. Trimmers/packagers carry out the day-to-day assignments and tasks of the medical cannabis production cycle.

Core Responsibilities

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Fundamental knowledge, as well as the ability to be taught and guided in areas related to harvesting, drying, trimming, and curing
  • Consistently perform daily work in trim/packaging area such as removing buds from stalks, visually inspecting the buds, hand trimming, daily cleaning task and basic record keeping
  • Weighing out product
  • Labeling Mylar bags
  • Packaging product into mylar bags
  • Must understand and maintain compliance with the rules and regulations set forth by the State; a pursuit to further their understanding and knowledge of the industry and laws is appreciated
  • Skill in analyzing potential problems with a plant or the product being processed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Follow Company SOP's and comply with all safety regulations
  • Complete assigned duties within established timeframe
  • Willing to perform other duties as assigned
  • Physical aptitude and health necessary to perform manual labor tasks required for the proper management of production warehouse

Work Environment:

This job operates in a cGMP inspected manufacturing facility. This role routinely uses gloves and scissors, and employees are required to wear coveralls, hairnets, and other PPE, including at times, face covers. This position regularly requires long hours. Weekend work opportunities are available and, at times, may be required.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. This employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands or feet, reach with hands and arms, and may be required to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. This position regularly requires long hours and frequent weekend work.

Travel:

This position does not require travel.
