Your Impact

The assembly technician is responsible for weighing, trimming, and removing buds from plant stems. This individual is required to meet daily and monthly production quotas and work a flexible schedule.

What You'll Do (Personnel Duties, Authority, and Responsibilities)

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other responsibilities and projects may be assigned for the overall benefit of the organization.

  • Trim flowers/buds by hand and/or using trimming or sorting equipment.
  • Inspect flowers/buds for quality, pests, and diseases, and remove any unusable material.
  • Meet daily/monthly production goals.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including tools and equipment.
  • Follow directions from management.
  • Weigh Products.
  • Following all safety and compliance regulations related to cannabis handling and processing.
  • Remove buds from plant stems.
  • Report any known issues or concerns.

Additional tasks may include:

  • Assist with harvesting and processing cannabis plants.
  • Packaging and labeling cannabis products.
  • Maintaining records and logs.

What You Bring (Qualifications)

  • Attention to detail and precision.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to acquire and maintain a Facility Agent Card through the state.
  • Flexible scheduling with the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

The employee is regularly exposed to strong cannabis odors and is frequently required to handle cannabis products. Exposure to environmental particles such as pollen and plant pathogens, fertilizer, dusts, odors, high heat, low temperature, high and low humidity, high noise levels, vibrations, water, dry salts, allergens, dust, other volatile organic compounds, and other environmental variables. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.
