Job description

Responsibilities
Noblis MSD is seeking a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer to with our NAVWAR Application Integration Test as a Service team. The selected individual will work on our Integration engineering team supporting NIWC Pacific in the software application integration into the various CANES systems. The CANES application software integration team is responsible for the development of the hosting standards for the software. The team develops installation procedures, modifies software parameters to support CANES system standards, develop testing requirements to meet hosting qualification standards and conducts software verification and validation testing. All hosted software applications must be rigorously tested for system compliance. Candidate will be responsible for conducting reviews, evaluation requirements, developing testing processes and procedures and maintains system documentation.
Candidate must have at least four years' experience supporting CANES software design, integration and management of applications to be hosted on the CANES networking and server infrastructure. This position will report directly to the Program Management and coordinate with other CANES functional government and contractors.
The specific responsibilities of this position include:
  • Responsible for tasking as assigned on software design and integration
  • Support weekly senior level meetings with government staff on execution
  • Provide senior engineering expertise for special projects
  • Coordinate with functional leads on schedule, design and delivery
  • Provide guidance to integration team on technical requirements
  • Develop solutions for future Integration requirements
  • Mentor and train new engineers on requirements
  • Provide interface for System Integration Test Events
  • Coordinate with lab leadership on software testing
  • Provide onsite integration leadership for complex applications
  • Review all IE documentation including HACSIM and any other load procedures
  • Provide primary interface to application teams

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 10 years of experience. Additional experience in place of degree may be acceptable.
  • Possess and maintain CompTIA Security+ CE
  • 4 years in support of CANES design integration to include integration on UNIX, LINUX, Solaris and Intel Platforms
  • Proficient in software development including security, scripting, and automation
  • Maintain operating system certification to include server+, Cloud, VCP, CCNA and/or MS server certified training
  • 10 years of Navy experience
  • Active Top Secret clearance
  • Must be a US citizen.

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis' total compensation package.
