Title: Graduate Assistant - Cancer Epidemiology (Hawaii Pacific Foundation)
Monthly Type: 11 Month Full Time/Part Time: Part Time - Full Time Equivalency (FTE): 50% FTE

Salary: Step 14 ($2,335.50 per month)

Job Duties:
  1. Assist Principal Investigator (PI) with writing research papers for journal submissions
  2. Maintain record of human subjects in research studies.
  3. Provide support to PI with data analysis and interpretation
  4. Perform other duties assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
  1. A classified University of Hawaii at Manoa graduate student (new or continuing). Good academic standing (3.0 GPA or above).
  2. Enrolled into a University of Hawaii at Manoa graduate program.
  3. Competent in general computer programs (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  4. Ability to safeguard confidential and sensitive material and information

Desirable Qualifications:
  1. Expressed interest in Cancer Epidemiology or Prevention
  2. Working knowledge of SAS, R and other data analysis software
  3. Knowledge of database management and program evaluation
