Rod's Tire & Automotive, a well-established, independently owned repair shop in Medina, TN, is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join our team.

About the Role

As an Automotive Service Advisor, you'll serve as the primary connection between our customers and technicians. You'll build trust, communicate repair recommendations clearly, and guide customers through the repair process while delivering an exceptional service experience. What You'll Do

• Welcome customers and accurately document vehicle concerns
• Review digital vehicle inspections and explain repair recommendations professionally
• Prepare accurate estimates for maintenance and repair services
• Help customers prioritize needed repairs while building long-term trust
• Coordinate with technicians and the parts department to keep repairs moving efficiently
• Keep customers informed throughout the repair process
• Follow up on declined recommendations and future maintenance opportunities
• Monitor key performance indicators including average repair order (ARO), repair order sales, gross profit, and customer satisfaction
• Maintain an organized, professional front counter environment

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor required
• Strong knowledge of automotive repair, maintenance, and vehicle systems
• Experience presenting diagnostics, maintenance, brake, suspension, tire, and major mechanical repair recommendations
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable using shop management software and digital vehicle inspection platforms
• Organized, dependable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated with a commitment to honesty, professionalism, and customer satisfaction
