  • Help agency teams identify where retail media can support client objectives, including commerce outcomes, audience strategy, measurement, and omnichannel media planning.
  • Develop clear playbooks, POVs, training materials, activation guidance, and best-practice documentation that improve agency understanding and adoption of programmatic retail media capabilities.
  • Translate retailer, platform, and market developments into practical guidance for agency investment, strategy, commerce, and activation teams.
  • Serve as an internal subject matter expert on retail media, with a focus on helping teams move from fragmented information gathering to actionable recommendations and scalable output.
Programmatic & DSP Integration
  • Help connect retail media strategy to broader programmatic workflows, including audience strategy, DSP activation, supply access, reporting, and measurement.
  • Support the development of guidance for activating retail media audiences and inventory through DSPs and programmatic channels where appropriate.
  • Partner with internal teams to identify opportunities to standardize workflows across retail media networks, DSPs, agency buying teams, and reporting stakeholders.
  • Maintain a working understanding of key DSP capabilities, programmatic buying models, audience activation options, measurement approaches, and platform limitations relevant to retail media.

  • Collaborate with the PMX Partnerships team to ensure retailer, platform, and integration updates are accurately translated into agency guidance, enablement materials, and adoption plans.
Thought Leadership & Market Intelligence

  • Develop internal and external-facing POVs, marketplace updates, and strategic narratives that help Publicis teams position programmatic retail media more effectively.
  • Evaluate emerging capabilities, platform shifts, and industry developments through the lens of practical agency application and client value.
  • Support PMX leadership with materials for agency roadshows, executive presentations, training sessions, and strategic planning discussions.
Agency & Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work directly with agency stakeholders to understand client needs, identify barriers to adoption, and improve programmatic retail media education and utilization.
  • Participate in agency-facing discussions, internal business reviews, and client strategy sessions as needed.
  • Build trusted relationships across PMX, agency investment teams, Commerce, Precision, Analytics, and Product teams.
  • Help ensure programmatic retail media recommendations are practical, commercially relevant, and grounded in how agencies actually plan, buy, measure, and optimize media.
QualificationsRequired Experience
  • 5-8 years of experience in retail media, retail media platforms, programmatic advertising, digital media, commerce media, media strategy, ad technology, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of retail media networks, commerce platforms, retailer data, audience activation, campaign measurement, and reporting frameworks.

  • Experience developing POVs, playbooks, training materials, strategic recommendations, or other content designed to guide agency or client decision-making.
  • Strong ability to translate complex industry developments into clear, practical, and actionable guidance.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with agency teams, investment leads, product teams, analytics teams, or platform stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, project management, and organizational skills.
Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with major retail media platforms such as Amazon Ads, Walmart Connect, Roundel, Instacart Ads, Kroger Precision Marketing, Albertsons Media Collective, Criteo, CitrusAd, or similar platforms.
  • Experience connecting retail media recommendations to broader programmatic, omnichannel, and performance media strategies.
