Athletic Facilities and Grounds
  • Maintain athletic facilities, fields, courts, natatorium, locker rooms, training areas, bleachers, concession areas, and related support spaces in a safe, clean, and operational condition.
  • Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and groundskeeping activities to ensure athletic venues remain attractive and functional.
  • Oversee the daily care and operational readiness of the campus natatorium, including routine facility inspections, equipment monitoring, cleanliness, coordination of maintenance needs, and ensuring the facility is prepared for athletic programs and rentals.
  • Monitor athletic field conditions, irrigation systems, equipment, and infrastructure, report deficiencies, and coordinate repairs as needed.

Campus Support Operations
  • Serve as the primary Campus Support Technician assigned to athletics while providing support for maintenance, grounds, custodial, safety, facility operations, and campus events throughout the Academy as directed by the Director of Campus Support.
  • Complete assigned work orders and operational tasks in a timely, professional, and customer-focused manner.
  • Assist with emergency repairs, weather response, campus incidents, and other operational needs across campus.

Rentals and Facility Operations
  • Serve as the primary Campus Support Liaison for athletic facility rentals, camps, tournaments, and special events.
  • Coordinate with the Director of Campus Support, Athletic Director, rental groups, and event organizers to ensure facilities are prepared and operational before, during, and after scheduled use.
  • Serve as a designated campus keyholder responsible for opening, securing, and conducting facility walkthroughs before and after rentals and special events.
  • Provide an on-site Campus Support presence during rentals as needed to assist with facility access, answer operational questions, and address minor facility issues or last-minute requests.
  • Verify facilities are restored to Academy standards following rentals and communicate maintenance or damage concerns to the Director of Campus Support.

Administrative and Team Responsibilities
  • Maintain required records, work orders, inventory documentation, and timekeeping records.
  • Keep work areas, storage spaces, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and secure.
  • Collaborate with Campus Support, Athletic Department personnel, and other campus stakeholders to support Academy operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Campus Support.

Compensation: Starting $15/hour (Compensation commensurate with experience)
Target Start: August 1st
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience in facilities maintenance, groundskeeping, athletics operations, event support, or a related field preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of maintenance practices, grounds equipment, and safe tool operation.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer-service skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with supervisors, coaches, faculty, staff, students, vendors, and rental groups.
  • Ability to lift and carry at least 60 pounds.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.

Special Requirements:
  • Work schedule includes evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, athletic events, rentals, camps, and special events as required.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Availability to respond to urgent facility and operational needs.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining effective communication with supervisors, coaches, staff, and rental groups
