Maintenance Details:

  • Temp-to-Hire position
  • $13.00 /hour
  • Full Time work available
  • Weekend work required
  • First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 04:00pm)

perform day to day work responsibilities as they relate to the operational maintenance of the campground. A wide variety of tasks will include but not limited to carpentry, plumbing, electrical, landscaping and equipment repair including the following specific responsibilities:

  • Knowledgeable in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and building trades helpful. Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards.
  • Perform maintenance of electrical systems (repair circuit breaker panels, install light fixtures, install wire and conduit).
  • Knowledge on operating all lawn equipment; mowers, weed-eater, etc. and knowledge of basic mechanical skills and tools as they relate to the upkeep of equipment.
  • Removal of trash and preparation of campsites for new guests.
  • General knowledge of swimming pool care and chemicals helpful.
  • Must be available weekends, evenings, and holidays. Be adaptable for work in any area of the campground.

Maintenance Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, however not required.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively through both verbal and written venues.
  • Basic understanding of electrical and other systems
  • Personable, enjoy working with children/people.
  • Possess exceptional guest relations skills. Knowledge of small engines and landscaping equipment.
  • Must be able to pass a background check. Lift at least 50 pounds, Stand for long periods of time, Bend stope and Crouch.
  • Applicant may be subject to a background check
  • Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
