POSITION SUMMARY

The Campaign Support Specialist serves as a key member of the Donor Services team, responsible for planning, configuration, deployment, and ongoing support of workplace online giving campaigns. This role manages multiple campaign implementations while partnering with internal departments, corporate partners, campaign volunteers, and technical contacts to ensure successful execution and exceptional customer service.

The position requires strong project coordination, advanced Microsoft Excel skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to effectively communicate technical information to users with varying levels of technical expertise. Success in this role depends on exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities while meeting critical deadlines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage the planning, configuration, testing, and deployment of workplace online giving campaigns, ensuring projects are completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Coordinate campaign timelines, priorities, deliverables, and communications with internal stakeholders, corporate partners, campaign volunteers, and technical contacts.
  • Configure workplace giving sites within the online giving platform according to client requirements and established implementation timelines.
  • Create, test, schedule, and deploy broadcast email communications, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Format, validate, cleanse, and import data files while maintaining data integrity, confidentiality, and security.
  • Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel to reconcile data, identify discrepancies, perform quality assurance, and support campaign reporting.
  • Generate reports, exports, and data files to support workplace campaigns, payroll processing, and internal business needs.
  • Reconcile online giving transactions with UWMD's CRM system to ensure complete and accurate data migration.
  • Collaborate with Finance, IT, Development, and external partners to investigate and resolve data discrepancies and technical issues.
  • Work with technical contacts at donor organizations to configure, test, and troubleshoot Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations and other system connectivity requirements.
  • Provide technical support to donors, campaign volunteers, company administrators, and UWMD staff by diagnosing issues and communicating solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical users.
  • Prepare and optimize images for campaign websites using Adobe Photoshop or comparable image editing software.
  • Perform annual and ongoing maintenance of the online giving platform and related designation databases.
  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes, documentation, automation, and operational efficiencies.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, user guides, and implementation procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of workplace giving campaigns and Donor Services operations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a technology focus, or a combination of education and work experience in a field related to this role.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:      

  • Experience working with SaaS/business applications, CRM systems, and data imports/exports.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and email broadcast technologies; Adobe Photoshop experience preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management, reconciliation, reporting, and analysis.
