Job description

The role of Inside Sales Campaign Specialist will provide campaign execution and operational support for Inside Sales initiatives within the Products & Services department in the North American Exhibitions business unit at GES.
The Products & Services department's key functions include selecting new products for offering, project management for product launches, selling the products and services, including custom rental exhibits, tracking product sales and other relevant KPIs, and adjusting to market demands.
The Inside Sales Campaign Specialist works in partnership with Inside Sales and Marketing to execute high-volume email campaigns with accuracy and timeliness. This role is responsible for managing campaign lists, deploying sends in Marketo, tracking responses, and supporting lead routing and follow-up within Salesforce. Campaigns will support multiple shows and products, requiring strong organization, attention to detail, and alignment to show dates and deadlines.
This position focuses on execution and coordination, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time, aligned with business rules, and properly set up for sales follow-up. The role also supports ongoing campaign activity through data accuracy, managing multiple concurrent initiatives, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth execution.
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing a high volume of work in a fast-paced, fully remote environment. They should demonstrate strong accountability, the ability to work independently, and a consistent focus on accuracy and execution quality while supporting Inside Sales objectives.
Responsibilities:
  • Execute and manage high-volume email campaigns in Marketo supporting Inside Sales initiatives
  • Coordinate and deploy multiple concurrent campaigns targeting thousands of exhibitors
  • Maintain campaign calendars to ensure launches align with show dates, sales timelines, and key deadlines
  • Build, manage, and validate campaign audience lists across Marketo and Salesforce, ensuring accuracy and proper segmentation
  • Apply show-specific rules, including product availability and exclusions, when executing campaign lists
  • Track campaign activity, responses, and list performance with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Leverage key Marketo functionality such as tokens and dynamic content to reduce execution time and increase consistency across all Marketo programs
  • Route inbound responses appropriately, including assigning leads to sales representatives or managing follow-up when required
  • Assist with lead assignment and distribution in Salesforce to support timely sales engagement
  • Update and maintain campaign tracking, list status, and project updates within Salesforce and Project Central
  • Identify and resolve list discrepancies or campaign issues prior to launch through critical thinking and problem-solving
  • Collaborate with Inside Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams via email, chat, and virtual meetings to ensure aligned execution
  • Participate in regular team check-ins, campaign alignment calls, and cross-functional coordination
  • Manage multiple campaigns simultaneously while adapting to shifting priorities and timelines
  • Work independently in a fully remote environment while maintaining strong organization, accountability, and productivity

Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of experience executing email or campaign workflows in Marketo or similar marketing automation platforms
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM systems, including list management and lead assignment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage high volumes of detailed work accurately
  • Demonstrated attention to detail with a focus on error-free campaign execution
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, execution-focused environment
  • Proven ability to meet important and near-critical deadlines consistently in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment
  • Comfortable following established processes while identifying and resolving data or campaign issues as they arise
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams in a remote setting
  • Self-motivated with the ability to stay organized and accountable without direct in-person oversight
  • Adaptable and flexible when priorities, timelines, or campaign requirements shift
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Experience supporting Inside Sales, marketing operations, or lead generation efforts is a plus
  • Familiarity with trade shows, events, or exhibitor-based marketing is a plus

Work Environment:
  • Remote position with minimal travel required
