Job description

Join a dynamic marketing operations team as a Marketing Automation Specialist focused on building audiences, automations, and personalized customer journeys across Salesforce Data Cloud and Salesforce Marketing Cloud. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn business goals into scalable, well-tested campaign solutions that support engaging customer experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain Data Cloud audiences, calculated insights, and segmentation for marketing initiatives.
  • Validate audience counts, data accuracy, and activation readiness before campaigns are launched.
  • Partner with Marketing Operations, Data Engineering, and MarTech teams to troubleshoot data or platform issues.
  • Configure data extensions that use Data Cloud audiences to support campaign execution.
  • Develop and maintain SQL queries, automations, and data extensions used in marketing workflows.
  • Create journeys and automated workflows that enable scalable campaign delivery.
  • Test audience eligibility, personalization logic, and journey performance before deployment.
  • Monitor ongoing journey performance and resolve automation failures or data-related issues.
  • Document technical specifications, campaign configurations, and deployment procedures.
  • Follow governance standards, naming conventions, and change management processes.
  • Support testing and deployment of new Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud capabilities.
Skills
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Contact Builder, and SQL.
  • 2+ years of experience with Salesforce Data Cloud or another enterprise customer data platform.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with large relational datasets.
  • Experience building customer segments, lifecycle campaigns, and personalized marketing experiences.
  • Understanding of customer identity resolution, data modeling, and audience governance.
  • Experience troubleshooting complex marketing automation and data integration issues.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts clearly for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
