Be Part of What's Next

Help power the digital advertising campaigns behind some of the most recognized brands in media. As a Campaign Manager, you'll bring precision, curiosity, and a performance mindset to campaign execution-helping ensure our advertisers' programs launch smoothly, deliver effectively, and generate actionable insights.

About Hearst Magazines (Why Us?)

Hearst Magazines' portfolio of more than 30 iconic brands in the U.S. inspires and entertains audiences across all media platforms. Our digital presence includes more than 200 million unique monthly visitors, and our social accounts reach hundreds of millions of followers. We are a global media company that publishes print and digital products, produces digital video and social content, and develops innovative experiences for audiences and advertising partners.

Key Responsibilities (What You Are Doing)

  • Manage end-to-end digital campaign execution, including asset collection, trafficking, testing, QA, pacing, optimization, reporting, and delivery across Google Ad Manager, LiveIntent, and other advertising platforms.
  • Partner with Account Management to implement and optimize digital media campaigns, establish performance expectations, and leverage the capabilities of Hearst Magazines properties to set programs up for success.
  • Monitor and optimize campaign pacing and performance against client KPIs, recommending and implementing adjustments while proactively identifying trafficking, reporting, or delivery issues.
  • Coordinate with offshore support teams on trafficking requests and campaign launch requirements, thoroughly reviewing deliverables to minimize errors and protect revenue.
  • Analyze and communicate campaign results through internal and external reporting, partnering with Account Managers and Project Managers to develop wrap reports featuring insights, top-performing elements, and recommendations for future campaigns.
  • Serve as an ad operations and optimization resource for sales and sales support teams, providing clear guidance on campaign execution, ad technology, and performance.
  • Support accurate billing by understanding client requirements, finalizing monthly delivery for reconciliation, and helping Account Management investigate and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate mappings between internal and third-party systems while staying current on evolving ad technology standards, including ad verification, viewability, programmatic ad serving, and third-party tracking.

Qualifications (What We're Looking For)

  • 1+ years of experience in digital advertising campaign management, ad operations, or a related area, including hands-on experience with campaign execution, optimization, and reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Microsoft Excel, with the ability to interpret campaign data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Experience with Google Ad Manager is a plus.
  • Familiarity with third-party ad servers and technologies such as Google Campaign Manager, Flashtalking, Innovid, and VAST video is preferred.
  • Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, CSS, SQL, or other scripting or development languages is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to thorough testing and QA, particularly when working with third-party tags, creative assets, and reporting systems.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, a collaborative approach, and the ability to build effective professional relationships across teams and levels.
  • Ability to learn new technical concepts quickly, manage multiple priorities, and adapt in a fast-moving digital advertising environment.
  • This role is based in New York and requires working in the office four days per week as part of our hybrid work model.

Benefits (What We Offer)

  • Work with the Best: Collaborate with top-tier professionals across media, advertising, tech, fashion, lifestyle, and publishing, shaping the future of these dynamic industries.
  • Grow Your Skills: Unlock your potential with access to innovative training programs, immersive workshops, and exclusive industry events.
  • Work-Life Harmony: Enjoy the flexibility of hybrid work, empowering you to balance professional success with personal priorities.
  • Foster Connection & Belonging: Join our Employee Resource Groups and help create a welcoming workplace where everyone feels valued and empowered.
  • Wellness First: Prioritize your well-being with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance from Day 1.
  • Plan for Your Financial Future: Enjoy competitive financial perks, including a 401(k) plan with a generous company match.

The base salary range for this role is $58,000-$70,000. This position is not eligible for bonus or commission compensation. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
