About the team and what we’ll build together

The Marketing Operations team is Kobie’s campaign execution engine — delivering outbound loyalty communications for some of the world’s most recognized brands. Organized into three pillars (Campaign Management, Development, and Quality Assurance), the team builds and deploys high-volume, personalized email campaigns that reach millions of loyalty members. As a Campaign Manager, you’ll work closely with internal and external partners to deliver loyalty marketing campaigns and email marketing for enterprise clients. You’ll ensure the performance, productivity, and efficiency of campaign creation and delivery — and help your clients’ members get the most out of their loyalty experience.

How you will make an impact

As a Campaign Manager, you own the end-to-end lifecycle of your assigned campaigns — from intake through post-launch. You’re the day-to-day owner accountable for accurate, on-time delivery and clear client communication.

  • Gather and document client campaign requirements, questioning and challenging as appropriate to ensure exact requirements are understood before build begins

  • Validate campaign briefs for completeness — confirming audience, content, offer, and timeline requirements are fully defined before work is handed to Development

  • Initiate and lead kick-off meetings with internal teams and external partners, documenting agreed-upon outputs and action items

  • Own the marketing calendar for assigned clients — tracking milestones, flagging risks, and ensuring plans stay current throughout the campaign lifecycle

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client communications related to campaign status, delivery, and escalations

  • Responsible for day-to-day operational processes including campaign set-up, trafficking, troubleshooting, QA coordination, and campaign optimization

  • Manage, create, and coordinate campaign deployment including subscriber data, audience segmentation, email scheduling, and sending on behalf of Kobie’s loyalty clients

  • Submit and track campaigns in Workfront/Jira; maintain documentation standards across all assigned work

  • Support A/B and multivariate (MVT) test planning by ensuring test structures are defined, documented, and executable

  • Identify process inefficiencies and ways to improve operational workflow

  • Develop robust campaign and process documentation, including client-specific work instructions

  • Escalate risks, blockers, and quality concerns proactively to avoid missed SLAs

  • At the end of the first year, success means: campaigns execute accurately and on schedule, the marketing calendar is maintained without prompting, and client communication is proactive and reliable

What you need to be successful

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • 2+ years of experience in a campaign management, account management, or project management role

  • Knowledge of email marketing best practices, specifically Salesforce Marketing Cloud (formerly ExactTarget) required

  • Experience with a new client implementation

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects and client deadlines with minimal oversight

  • Strong written, verbal communication, and problem-solving skills with an impeccable eye for detail

  • Ability to work directly in a client-facing role

  • Agency experience or corporate in-house agency experience

Preferred

  • Experience in SendGrid, Mailchimp, Alterian, Salesforce, Braze, Iterable, or other ESPs

  • Six Sigma, Lean, or other process framework

  • Experience working in workflow management tools such as Workfront or Jira

  • Knowledge of email template development and journey orchestration fundamentals preferred

  • Knowledge of SQL fundamentals or other database technologies preferred
