Title and Summary
Marketing Manager, B2B Field Marketing - North America
Overview:
Mastercard Services Marketing is seeking an experienced B2B Field Marketing Manager to help drive North America demand generation, field engagement, and regional campaign execution. This role will translate global Services priorities into market-relevant programs that support pipeline creation, sales acceleration, and customer engagement across priority solutions and segments.
As a key member of the North America field marketing team, you will partner closely with sales, business development, product marketing, regional marketing, and global marketing teams to develop and execute integrated campaigns. These programs will leverage field events, executive engagements, account-based marketing, digital activation, content, and post-event nurture to reach the right audiences and move opportunities forward.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role for a marketer who thrives in a fast-moving, matrix environment. The ideal candidate is commercially minded, highly organized, comfortable working with sales stakeholders, and energized by turning strategy into well-executed programs that create measurable business value.
Role:
โ€ข Manage and execute in-market campaigns including digital advertising campaigns, virtual events including webinars, and development of sales enablement content with the goal of driving Data & Services sales with merchant organizations.
โ€ข Contribute to in-market event (owned events and industry events) execution including branding and content development of US merchants event strategy and lead the event planning and execution.
โ€ข Analyze campaign performance against evaluation metrics (e.g., leads and sales opportunities generated), and consistently communicate outcomes to stakeholders while identifying opportunities to improve performance.
โ€ข Effectively partner with third parties (e.g., marketing agencies, event organizers, etc.) and internal partners to drive desired outcomes.
โ€ข Partner closely with sales and business development teams to align campaign priorities, support target account engagement, optimize lead handoff, and track post-campaign follow-up.
โ€ข Plan and manage regional events, trade shows, executive briefings, and other field activities that build brand relevance, deepen customer engagement, and generate qualified leads.
โ€ข Own hands-on campaign execution and performance reporting for field events, target account marketing activities, and regional demand generation programs.
โ€ข Navigate Mastercard approvals, contracting, budget, and reporting processes with strong attention to detail and operational discipline.
โ€ข Coordinate with regional business owners, country teams, product marketing, partner marketing, customer marketing, and sales teams to deliver integrated programs that are relevant to North America market needs.
All About You:
โ€ข Minimum of 7 years of B2B marketing experience, with strong experience in field marketing, demand generation, account-based marketing, or event-led customer engagement.
โ€ข Self-directed, creative, and commercially minded; able to proactively bring ideas forward, solve problems, and find practical ways to improve campaign performance and customer engagement.
โ€ข Strong writing and messaging skills for field marketing activities, including speaker submissions, stage presentations, event invitations, campaign localization, direct promotion copy, and sales enablement materials.
โ€ข Proven ability to work effectively in a matrixed marketing organization and build strong relationships with sales, product, regional marketing, and global marketing partners.
โ€ข Hands-on experience developing email campaigns, event communications, nurture journeys, and other campaign assets.
โ€ข Detail-oriented, well organized, and able to manage multiple programs, stakeholders, timelines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
โ€ข Analytical and performance-oriented, with the ability to pull, interpret, and present marketing data to inform decisions and communicate results.
โ€ข CRM experience required; Salesforce.com experience preferred.
โ€ข Marketing automation experience required; Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience preferred.
โ€ข Comfortable traveling up to 25% of the time to support North America events, customer engagements, and internal planning moments.
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a relevant field of study preferred.
