You will join the foundation at an exciting time, with the opportunity to make a transformational impact. The foundation is in the public phase of a historic campaign to raise $3 billion to build a better future for Nebraska. The campaign is being led by many enthusiastic volunteers representing all areas of the University of Nebraska System. UNL anchors the campaign, with a goal of $1.5 billion from enthusiastic donors. This position will work in our Lincoln office.

Ways you will make an impact:

  • Provide a wide range of support encompassing organizational, administrative, and technical duties.
  • Proof and prepare correspondence, documents, forms, memos, reports, mass mailings, etc.
  • Be proficient in use of Microsoft office suite of products and other databases as assigned/needed.
  • Assist with details and preparations of events or meetings, including location, tracking reservations, preparing agendas, preparing reports, attendee identification, invitations, catering needs, communications, etc.
  • Greet and correspond with campus partners, donors or senior executives, as appropriate.
  • Perform back-up front desk receptionist duties (i.e., answering telephone, greeting guests, etc.) and other duties as assigned.

  • Minimum Education: Associates degree or equivalent required. Preferred Education: Bachelors degree.
  • Minimum Experience: 1 to 3 years of prior administrative experience.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience with data entry.
  • Discretion in handling confidential matters.
  • Computer experience in a PC environment; ability to work with Microsoft Office Suite and utilize other software.
