Join us as Philosophy Camp staff, where you'll play a key role in facilitating engaging discussions for middle and high school campers. You'll be involved in planning and logistics, bringing your subject expertise to create a stimulating camp experience. During camp weeks, you'll collaborate with campers and staff, ensuring activities run smoothly and safely. What you need to know

Salary: Compensation will be commensurate to the selected hire's experience.

Cover Letter/Resume: A cover letter and resume are strongly recommended.

Schedule: 2026 Philosophy Camp will run the 2nd and 3rd week of June 2026.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • No prior experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPR Certified.

  • First Aid Certified.

  • Experience working with children/ Camp worker experience.

Responsibilities

Camp Counselor:

  • At the direction of the Camp Director(s), provides instruction, demonstration, and assistance to campers

  • Adheres to high standards and serves as a role model for our campers

  • Participate in all aspects of camp life

  • Assist instructors on campus during the day and will be responsible for keeping campers on-task and engaged during lessons, and panels.
