DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW:The Boston Red Sox Florida Operations Team is dedicated to providing a world-class environment while serving Baseball Player Development and the community of Southwest Florida. Our year-round focus of baseball, business development, and philanthropic engagement guide our commitment to winning another World Championship while creating life-long memories for our fans.
POSITION OVERVIEW:The Florida Operations department is looking for two (2) individuals to help assist with the management of the Florida Operations department. The associates will have a chance to experience and learn the many facets of spring training ballpark operations as well as how to run numerous non-baseball events. These roles are pivotal in JetBlue Parks success and offer associates the opportunity to learn and experience what it takes to prepare for, run, and close down an impactful spring training experience.
Start: September 28, 2026 | End: April 30, 2027
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist in setup and breakdown of all events held at JetBlue Park including: Open House, concerts, 5k races, car shows, and food festivals.
  • Contribute to Red Sox Fantasy Camp in weekly set-ups and daily tasks such as scorekeeping, uniform inventory management, and check-ins for external events.
  • Help in coordinating the Swings for the Sox charity golf tournament.
  • Setup, execution and breakdown of all Spring Training related areas inside and outside the ballpark.
  • Assist in managing building/ballpark security systems and safety protocols.
  • Assist with oversight and management of the athletic hydrotherapy area.
  • Assist with ballpark walkthroughs, recording of safety and/or facility issues, and following up on repairs and maintenance.
  • Coordinate and lead all building organization activities to ensure the Club's high standards for order and cleanliness are maintained.
  • Assist with the organization and planning of all rental needs for Spring Training.
  • Serve as a liaison between the game day staff and management.
  • Assist with the inventory of received shipments and promotional products.
  • Transport Red Sox personnel to and from airports/hotels when needed.
  • Assist with all UPS, FedEx, Amazon, and USPS deliveries and shipments.

CHARACTERISTICS/QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-paced, team environment.
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail and a desire to deliver an excellent fan experience.
  • Strong understanding and use of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Canva.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to perform manual labor and lift 40 pounds.
  • Work often involves being outside.
  • College credit available, if needed for graduation, but not a requirement.
    • Eligibility begins in junior year or later
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
