  • Perform field activities requiring travel to remote and geographically diverse locations throughout Alaska, Hawaii, and CONUS.
Project Implementation & Program Support
  • Coordinate with FAA personnel, property owners, utilities, and other stakeholders to support project planning and execution.
  • Support real estate and lease coordination activities associated with site acquisition and sustainment.
  • Coordinate site implementation activities including equipment installation, testing, commissioning, and acceptance.
  • Produce and maintain final project documentation, engineering drawings, and as-built records.
  • Provide technical writing and documentation support for engineering packages, installation guides, and operational procedures.
Your Impact on the Mission

As a Weather Camera Systems Engineer, your work ensures that pilots, controllers, and aviation stakeholders have access to accurate, real-time visual weather data that supports safer and more informed flight operations. Your engineering expertise will help expand and sustain a national capability that improves situational awareness, enhances operational reliability, and strengthens the safety of the National Airspace System.
