JOB SUMMARY:

The Liquid Bottling Shift Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the bottling line during their assigned shift. This role ensures that production targets are met efficiently, safely, and in compliance with quality standards. The Shift Manager will lead a team of production staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise Production: Manage the bottling line operations, ensuring production schedules are met and quality standards are maintained.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, train, and motivate production staff. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback.
  • Employee Development: Identify and develop employees to enhance their skills and advance their careers within the company.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all safety protocols are followed. Conduct safety training and audits to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Quality Control: Monitor product quality and implement corrective actions when necessary. Work closely with the quality assurance team to address any issues.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve operational issues promptly to minimize downtime. Coordinate with maintenance teams for equipment repairs and preventive maintenance.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate production records and prepare shift reports. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels of raw materials and finished products. Coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure timely availability of materials.
  • Continuous Improvement: Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives.
