Job description

CAM Operator
Job Purpose:
TheCAMOperator reviews customer design data and drawings, performs thorough design rule checks, and generates manufacturing data, programs, and tooling for PCB production.
Nature of Duties/Responsibilities
  • Import customer data into Genesis.
  • Conduct design rule checks (DRC's), and edit data for manufacturing compliance based on planning engineering instructions.
  • Develop manufacturing data including panelization, Cu layers, soldermask and silkscreen, drill and route files.
  • Generate and verify NC programs for manufacturing equipment.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production to resolve design queries.
  • Apply strong understanding of PCB manufacturing processes to CAM data preparation.
Education/Experience:
  • Preferred candidates with engineering background.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in PCB tooling, product engineering, and/or planning engineering.
  • Familiarity with standard manufacturing design rules, IPC standards, and CAD/CAM systems. Computer literacy is required.
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications and resolve technical issues.

Salary Range (annual) : $64,792.16 - $77,000.00
Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package. The total rewards package also includes a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business and, depending on the role, may include eligibility for restricted stock unit awards and participation in a discretionary bonus program.
This is an ITAR facility and applicant must be a US Citizen or a lawful permanent resident.
