In this role as a Physical Therapist, you will examine, evaluate, test, and work to alleviate mechanical, physiological, or developmental impairments, functional limitations, disabilities, or other health and movement-related conditions; classifying these disorders, determining a rehabilitation prognosis and plan of therapeutic intervention, and assessing the ongoing effects of the interventions.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Evaluates patients utilizing the advanced/specialized test and measurements, to determine the physical therapy problem/level of function and the expected discharge environment.
  • Promotes and has knowledge of and utilizes appropriate patient care protocol relating to the physical, psychosocial, and developmental needs of adult patients.
  • Establishes a treatment plan based upon the evaluation findings; and the patient/family, the referring practitioner, and therapist's goals.
  • Performs advanced/specialized physical therapy techniques and procedures.
  • Treats patients with complex problems ie. co-morbidities and/or poor previous out-comes; consults on difficult cases for staff and referring practitioners.
  • Documents findings; patient progress; and procedures performed, and time required.
  • Instructs patient/families in home programs.
  • Demonstrates effective time management; achieves designated productivity standard.
  • Perform comprehensive evaluations to assess musculoskeletal conditions.

Required Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited program with minimum Bachelor's Degree, Master's or Doctorate preferred
  • Licensed, or eligible, in the state of Illinois with Notification of eligibility for examination
  • Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Open to New Grads
