Job description

What You'll Do:
  • Perform QAQC on Site Specific Traffic Control Plans, Caltrans permitting utility exhibits and the additional supporting engineered justification documents such as Design Standard Decision Document and Encroachment Policy Exception for proposed utility work requiring Caltrans permitting.
  • Seeking someone with experience and knowledge of traffic control, CADOT, Caltrans permitting requirements, very detail oriented, organized, with overall understanding and background of construction and utility work.

Hybrid- Northern/Central CA Preferred (PG&E Territory)
Hybrid - about 10% travel for possible meetings, no expectation for days in office
Required Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in utility engineering field, Project Coordination, Analysis, Drafting
  • Engineering design background
  • Experience in gas and electric utilities
  • Knowledge of TCPs (CADOT)

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Caltrans permitting experience or knowledge
  • Construction background
  • SAP, Excel, Salesforce, Microsoft Platforms, etc.

In this role, you are enabled to be at the forefront of integrating artificial intelligence (AI) and utilizing tools such as, Microsoft Copilot, bespoke AI workflow tools, and an IT team dedicated to continuous improvement and innovation to enhance our operations and drive efficiency. Benefits & Salary:
  • This position pays between $87,000 - $117,000 annually, depending on education and experience level, and is an exempt position. The specific amount within this range will be influenced by the work location and various factors, such as internal equity, professional skills, work experience, and pertinent education or training.
  • Benefits offered include company sponsored medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plan with company match. Also offered are tuition reimbursement, voluntary life, disability, critical illness, accident and hospitalization plans. HSA or FSA medical accounts and FSA dependent care and transportation/parking accounts are also available. These benefits are subject to employee contribution amounts generally set annually.
  • Full time employees are eligible to earn PTO hours.
  • May be eligible for discretionary bonus as determined by the company.
