Job description

The Division of Engineering Services (DES), Structures and Engineering Services (SES), Office of Electrical, Mechanical, Water & Wastewater (OEMWW) is recruiting for a Structural Design Technician (SDT) III position, located in Sacramento.
This is the advanced journey level in the series. Under general direction from the Branch Chief, the incumbent prepares complete sets of contract drawings for difficult and complex water & wastewater structures. The incumbent acts in a lead capacity in the preparation of plans and/or quantity estimates for a wide variety of transportation structures.

This position may be eligible for telework. The amount of telework is at the discretion of the Department and based on Caltrans's evolving telework policy.
