Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician

Job Description
The Electrical Technician III is responsible for supporting field electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and electrical isolation activities in industrial and oilfield operations. This role performs preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to maximize operational reliability, minimize production downtime, and ensure safe facility operations.
The technician will support maintenance activities related to lighting systems, motors, air conditioning equipment, power distribution systems, and field electrical infrastructure. This position also supports Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures, Management of Change (MOC) requirements, and coordination with vendors and subcontractors during maintenance and modification activities.
The ideal candidate will have strong oilfield electrical experience, powerline or powerline build experience, and possess a valid Texas Journeyman or Master Electrician license.
Responsibilities
Electrical Maintenance & Operations
  • Perform preventative and corrective electrical maintenance on field and facility equipment.
  • Support electrical isolation procedures, including Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) activities.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, motors, lighting systems, power distribution equipment, and related infrastructure.
  • Plan and execute scheduled maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize operational availability.
  • Support field electrical builds, modifications, and upgrades.

Technical & Field Support
  • Work with vendors and subcontractors to support maintenance and project activities.
  • Participate in plant modification activities in compliance with Management of Change (MOC) procedures.
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvement, cost savings, and process simplification.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and reporting.
  • Participate in shift meetings and communicate operational concerns effectively.

Safety & Compliance
  • Promote and maintain high Safety, Security, Health, and Environmental (SSHE) standards.
  • Utilize Observation Safety Techniques (OST) to identify and report safe and unsafe conditions.
  • Support responsible waste management and environmental compliance practices.
  • Follow all company safety procedures, operational standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain a strong safety-focused mindset while working independently and within team environments.
