Job Description
As an AI/ML Full Stack Engineer at Calpine Inc., you will contribute to the development of AI-driven tools and applications to optimize energy operations, enhance forecasting, and improve operational efficiency. You will work on both front-end and back-end development, integrating machine learning models, including large language models (LLMs) and generative AI, into Calpine's energy management systems. This role is ideal for professionals with up to 5 years of experience who are passionate about AI, web development, and solving real-world energy sector challenges.
Job Responsibilities
  • AI/MLIntegration: Collaborate with data scientists to integrate machinelearning models (e.g., using TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn) forapplications such as energy demand forecasting, predictive maintenance, orcarbon emission optimization.
  • Back-EndDevelopment: Develop and optimize server-side logic, APIs, anddatabase interactions using Python (Flask, FastAPI, or Django) or Node.jsto support energy data processing.
  • AppDevelopment: Build and maintain responsive user interfaces forinternal tools and dashboards using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g.,React, Vue.js) and CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS.

Experience:
