Job description

WellSpan Health, a not-for-profit, community-based health care system in central Pennsylvania is seeking a Family Physician to join the team of providers at our Community Health Center in York.  We are looking for someone who shares our goals of providing high quality, culturally sensitive care to the underserved.

WellSpan Primary Care practices now utilize DAX - Dragon Ambient eXperience. DAX is an artificial intelligence scribe that ambiently listens to the patient visit and generates a clinical note in the EPIC electronic health record for the provider.

Position Highlights:

  • Join 9 other providers offering family medicine and pediatric care to the underserved population in the city of York
  • Full time, outpatient position - 35 hours a week of direct patient care
  • Call schedule is 1:9 and all calls are triaged by our nurse call center
  • We offer MAT of Suboxone, transgender care/hormone replacement and HIV meds
  • Practice augmented by full-time Spanish interpreters as well as virtual access to interpretation services, access to Social Work and Community Health Worker and educational pharmacist.
