Job description

PBX operator is responsible for managing a variety of incoming, outgoing and in-house office calls that involves calls from family members, hospital staff members and patients.

Essential Duties include:

Comments
*Transfers incoming calls to the right room, department or facilities within the hospital.
*Manages high volume calls efficiently
*Assists patients, visitors and vendors with directions inside and outside the hospital.
* Performs some clerical duties.
* Pages codes.
* Performs multi tasking while managing calls and shows a professional manner of call management.
* Always speaks clearly and fluently, is polite and friendly with a positive attitude and patience to listen.
* Answers multi line calls in a timely manner.


Education: High School Diploma required.
