Job description

Campland on the Bay is a full-service, destination RV Resort. Located in the Pacific Beach neighborhood of San Diego, we occupy 40 prime acres on Mission Bay just east of Crown Point. We offer over 500 campsites varying in size and location.

Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

All team members earn paid sick time and are welcome to enjoy the resort during their off-time. In addition to hourly pay, full time team members receive paid company holidays, floating holidays, paid vacation and are eligible for company insurance.

Core Tasks:

  • Respond to guest questions, concerns or complaints and provide assistance as requested.
  • Keep the front desk supplied with the documents all guests receive when they check-in.
  • Use the phone and radio to contact guest relations, security or maintenance team members; res/reg employees work closely with these departments to ensure our guests have such a great stay they will book with us again.
  • Answer calls to create new reservations, modify existing reservations or cancel reservations via our reservation software.
  • Take credit card payments and process other credit card transactions.
  • Accurately key all details pertaining to a reservation.
  • Be at work on time and reliably - satisfactory attendance is essential.

Requires consistent, on-time attendance, patience, attention to detail, organization, type at least 30 wmp, intermediate PC experience, accuracy, adherence to reservations policies and procedures, high school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience working at a front desk is a plus. Experience with Newbook reservation software highly desired.
