Job description

The Knowledge Center Representative provides administrative customer service assistance to claimants, providers, and other interested parties by receiving and answering telephonic inquiries. Utilizing proprietary systems and training knowledge, this role delivers high quality inbound and outbound customer service with a focus on accuracy, professionalism, and first call resolution. 

This is a remote position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Delivers friendly, efficient customer service in a high-volume environment
  • Accurately captures and enters data into CareMC and other internal systems
  • Demonstrates active listening and communicates clearly to confirm understanding
  • Promotes future use of self-help tools when applicable
  • Maintains consistent attendance and meets quality and productivity standards
  • Additional duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Effective verbal and written communication with active listening skills
  • Basic computer literacy and comfort using proprietary systems
  • Strong customer focus with ability to de-escalate routine issues
  • Attention to detail and time management skills

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year of customer service or call center experience

PAY RANGE

CorVel uses a market-based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location.  Pay rates are established taking into account the following factors:  federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions.  Our ranges may be modified at any time.

For leveled roles (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.) new hires may be slotted into a different level, either up or down, based on assessment during interview process taking into consideration experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.  The level may impact the salary range, and these adjustments would be clarified during the offer process.

Pay Range: $13.94 - $21.48 per hour
