Job description

About The Ride Platform
The Ride Platform, Inc. is the parent company of Outdoorsy, Ride, Wheelbase, and Roamly. We are named for the single transaction where an operator meets a renter. We build end-to-end for the Operator Economy: the marketplaces to book (Outdoorsy, Ride), the enterprise SaaS to manage (Wheelbase), and the insurtech (Roamly) to protect the assets people turn into businesses. We enable millions of people to explore the world while helping independent operators build generational wealth. Our mission is to build the essential infrastructure for the mobility economy.
About the Role
Product Marketing connects our product, customers, market, and growth. You manage how we understand our segments, position and message each product, and execute launches. You also equip the people and channels that sell. This role will prioritize Roamly and Ride, though you will work across the entire portfolio. You own positioning, launches, and enablement for those two areas, plus the ecosystem cross-sell narrative. You will partner with Product for each line of business.
We are an AI-first company. A large part of your job involves translating commercial strategy into the structured context our AI systems use. This includes segment definitions, personas, pricing narratives, and tone guardrails. These inputs keep AI-driven personalization aligned with our strategy. AI fluency is a multiplier on your PMM craft. We are looking for an excellent product marketer who is natively fluent in AI tools.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
  • Positioning & messaging: You own the value proposition, messaging hierarchy, and positioning for each product. We tailor these by segment, such as policyholders, fleet operators, renters, hosts, and small businesses.
  • Segmentation & personas: You define and maintain the segments and personas that guide our marketing and sales efforts.
  • Go-to-market & launches: You direct a repeatable, tiered launch process for new products, features, and market expansions. You quarterback cross-functional GTM efforts.
  • Sales, agent & channel enablement: You create battlecards, decks, and training materials. You also manage objection handling for Roamly agents, call centers, and partners, as well as Ride's B2B and fleet-operator motions.
  • Competitive intelligence & win/loss: You track the field, including insurtech and marketplaces. You run win/loss interviews and turn the results into positioning and enablement.
  • Pricing & packaging narrative: You partner with Product and Finance on packaging, tiering, and willingness-to-pay. You also craft the story around our pricing.
  • Voice of customer & research: You lead a standing research agenda. Through interviews, surveys, and data, you ensure our positioning remains grounded in real customer needs.
  • Structured commercial context for AI: You encode segments, personas, and pricing narratives as the structured inputs our AI execution systems consume.
  • Ecosystem narrative: You own the cross-sell story. This connects the loops between renter, host, policyholder, and operator to compound value across the portfolio.
Who You Are (Candidate Profile)
  • You have at least 5-7 years of experience in product marketing or a closely adjacent field, with a track record of material business impact.
  • You are AI-fluent. You use AI in your daily work and can translate strategy into the structured inputs and prompts that drive AI execution.
  • You demonstrate strong positioning and messaging craft. You can articulate the essence of a product and build a scalable messaging hierarchy.
  • You bring a proven track record of taking products and features to market end-to-end.
  • You possess hands-on experience with sales, channel, or agent enablement.
  • You have sharp skills in competitive analysis and customer research. You are comfortable using data directly without waiting on an analyst.
  • You are a strong storyteller who matches the message to the medium and the audience.
  • You are an owner. You are biased toward action and push for clarity and delivery.
Nice-to-Haves
  • Experience across both B2C marketplaces and B2B SaaS. We value exposure to mobility, fintech, or insurtech.
  • Comfort with messaging in regulated industries, specifically insurance advertising constraints.
  • Familiarity with marketplace network effects or product-led growth.

Benefits
What We Offer
  • Competitive Compensation: Base salary range of $100,000 - $135,000 DOE.
  • Growth Opportunity: Join a company in its early stages and help build its success from the ground up.
  • Equity: Opportunity to earn equity compensation.
  • Comprehensive Benefits: 100% company-paid medical premiums for employees, 401(k) match, and Flexible PTO.
  • Vibrant Culture: Catered lunches, happy hours, and team-building events.
  • Work-Life Balance: We offer marketplace discounts and maintain a culture that values the balance between work and adventure.
