About the role:
Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village is seeking a Server Assistant to join our team at Coin & Candor, our modern California Brasserie. We are looking for an individual who is polished, personable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for maintaining the dining room by efficiently clearing and resetting tables to standard, assisting with the delivery of food and beverages, and supporting the service team to ensure a seamless and elevated guest experience.
What you will do:
  • Assistance with guest service including retrieving food from the kitchen and safely transporting and delivering it to guest ensuring accuracy and timeliness, as well as removal of items from the guest's table.
  • Breakdown, clean and set-up of tables, buffets, and food stations.
  • Assist in clearing, cleaning and set-up of tables, chairs, linens, china, glass and silver for service in an unobtrusive manner.
  • Stock linen, china, silver and glassware for service ensuring that all are polished and in good condition; assist in preparation of smaller items such as toast, soup, or beverages.
  • Greet guests in a professional manner, serve beverage and food items while explaining the contents, and anticipate and service the guest's needs before requests are necessary.
  • Preparation of condiment and garnish items.

What you bring:
  • High school education or equivalent experience.
  • One year previous experience in a luxury Food and Beverage outlet.
  • Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
  • The ability to have strong communication skills between co-workers and guests.
  • Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States
