Job description

We are seeking a talented Calibration Specialist. Calibration Solutions is a multi-disciplinary calibration firm that serves the Soil, Concrete & Asphalt testing industry. Founded in 2011, we are an accredited company comprised of manufacturer trained, high integrity personnel with a combined 40 years of experience. We pride ourselves on providing the best possible service in the industry while providing a culture where employees are valued while contributing to meaningful projects.  

The Calibration Specialist is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of instruments and equipment to ensure they are calibrated correctly and provide accurate measurements onsite at customer testing labs. On top of servicing equipment, the Calibration Specialist is responsible for building customer relations by maintaining communication and assistance throughout the year. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Efficiently and professionally perform full service on customer equipment. 

  • Professional communication with co-workers, manufacturers, and customers regarding assigned jobs. 

  • Assist customers with troubleshooting and maintenance outside of assigned jobs. 

  • Assist customers with equipment procurement outside of assigned jobs. 

  • Undergo supervised and independent training on calibration and quality procedures. 

  • Provide accurate measurements onsite for client requests 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES) 

  • Valid Driver's License 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent 

  • Basic Knowledge of Microsoft office, (Excel, Word, Outlook) 

  • Ability to travel to jobsites (90% travel) 

  • Ability to work in various environments 

  • 2-5 years of experience in related field preferred 

  • Ability to work independently and alongside team members. 

  • Occasional weekend work per customer demands. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. 

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. 

  • Ability to utilize available resources to identify and solve unforeseen problems. 

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Must have a basic knowledge of MS Excel & Outlook.
