Where you’ll work

Onsite in our Quality Assurance department in New Port Richey, FL.

Your shift

Monday–Friday, 2:45 PM–11:15 PM. Overtime is routine.

A day on the job

As the go-to calibration expert on second shift, you’ll keep production humming by ensuring every measurement device is trustworthy. You’ll move from bench to production line, checking the smallest micrometer and the tallest height gage with the same care and focus.

  • Calibrate micrometers, calipers, pin gages, thread plugs, thread rings, and height gages to ISO-9000 and ANSI Z540-1 requirements, then kit gages after calibration as needed.
  • Apply calibration requirements for ovens and related assets (AMS-2750, ASTM E-29), along with other measuring and manufacturing equipment.
  • Run plant-wide calibration compliance audits and keep Value Stream daily management boards up to date with audit output.
  • Coordinate, monitor, and track internal instrument inventories and outside calibration vendors to maintain status and schedule integrity.
  • Enter data for calibration certifications and verify records for completeness and accuracy.
What you bring
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years in quality control, manufacturing, or metrology within an Aerospace, Military, or Machining Manufacturing ISO9001/AS9100 environment.
  • Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings; strong blueprint reading skills.
Preferred extras
  • Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook; SAP or a comparable ERP.
  • GageTrak calibration software.
  • Experience developing Gage R familiarity with ISO 17025.
