POSITION LOCATION : LARGO, FL
Applied Technical Services, LLC ("ATS" or the "Company") is a leading provider of critical testing, inspection, certification, and compliance services. The Company serves clients across a diverse set of large and stable end markets including manufacturing, power generation, aerospace, medical, and defense. ATS was founded in 1967 and is headquartered in Marietta, GA. Today the Company employs nearly 2,100 team members in over 95 locations across the United States.

CalSource, and ATS company, is a well -established testing and inspection service organization and is seeking a Calibration Technician for a full-time position at our customer site. The candidate will be responsible for the calibration of mechanical and dimensional measuring and testing equipment in an embedded calibration lab located in Largo, FL as well as field work across the client campus as needed.
Job Description
The Calibration Technician will work with other technicians on the team or may work on projects by themselves. The candidate should be a self-starter and should possess good interpersonal skills. Good verbal and written communication skills and well as computer skills are a must. The technician will provide a variety of inspection, measuring and testing equipment calibration services.
Location: Candidates will be based at a CalSource customer site in Largo, FL.
Responsibilities
  • Calibration of mechanical and dimensional measuring and testing equipment such as but not limited to:
    • Torque drivers, torque wrenches, torque analyzers
    • Micrometers, calipers, and dial and digital indicators
    • Pressure gauges, temperature equipment, force equipment, weights/scales,
    • Plug gauges, Pin gauges, ring gauges, thread plugs, thread rings

Qualifications
Requirements
  • 1-2+ years' of experience in mechanical and/or dimensional calibration is preferred. Candidates with relative skills in quality, maintenance, repair, measurement or other mechanical-related experience will be considered.
  • High School diploma or equivalent or a combination of education and experience
  • Commercial or Military experience preferred
  • Candidate shall be able to work 40 plus hours per week to meet customer demands. Overtime work is required.
  • Candidate shall be able to lift 60 pounds.
  • Candidate shall have a clean driving record, background check, and drug screen.
