As a legal assistant, your function would be to assist attorneys in litigation; calendar management; yield calls from opposing attorneys offices; communicate with judicial assistants; prepare and file legal pleadings.

Prior legal experience is required:

  • Preferred: high volume private law firm; collection law firm; consumer rights law firm; county clerk’s office; SAO/PD office.

Education required: * Preferred associate’s/bachelor’s degree; paralegal certification; some college
Skills required: * Preferred: Microsoft office; legal process knowledge; calendar management; independent time management; independent organization; management of attorney litigation calendar; E-filing

Job Type: Full-time
