Job description

We are seeking a District Vice President (DVP) who will be responsible for developing and implementing a business plan and sales strategy to increase CIGAM's market share within the territory; develop a territory coverage strategy and communication plan with existing and prospective advisors; and educate and develop advisor knowledge of CI investment solutions. Acting in collaboration with a Business Development Manager and Sales Associate, a DVP will be assigned and be responsible for achieving the CIGAM gross and net sales targets assigned to the district.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Increase sales and grow CIGAM's market share
  • Build consultative relationships with Advisors and staff
  • Work closely with Sales Associates and Business Development Managers to implement territory plan, prospect and maintain existing relationships (includes providing guidance and coaching)
  • Fully adopt and effectively use CIGAM's CRM platform to maximize sales results in the territory
  • Master CIGAM's investment message
  • Represent CIGAM at regional and national conferences
  • Consistently improve and develop product knowledge, sales skills and efficiencies
  • Maintain above average Environics Advisor Perception rankings
  • Work closely with the National Accounts and BDM to identify and execute on specific firm and advisor initiatives

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Minimum 3 years financial services industry experience in a sales capacity
  • University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance
  • Financial services designations (e.g. CSC, CFP, CIM, CFA, CAIA).
  • Securities, mutual fund products, and investment industry
  • Advance expertise in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in managing relationships with clients
  • Strong time management and organization skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Resourcefulness and creative problem solving skills to provide effective solutions for clients
  • May require attending marketing functions and activities which extend beyond normal office hours.

This opportunity is for an existing vacancy with the company. Theanticipatedbase salary range for this position is$85,000to $100,000. Exactsalary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a sales incentive plan program. In addition, The Company offers a variety of benefits to eligible employees, including health insurance coverage, wellness programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education-related programs, paid holidays and vacation time, and many others. Many of these benefits are subsidized or fully paid for by the company.

This role follows our in office work model and requires employees to be onsite four days per week to support collaboration and business needs.
