Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience as a Dental Treatment Coordinator, Patient Coordinator, or Dental Front Office professional.
  • Strong ability to present treatment plans and help patients move forward with recommended care.
  • Knowledge of dental procedures, insurance benefits, and financial arrangements.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working in team-oriented environment.
  • Experience with Open Dental software preferred.
  • Experience with Cherry and Care Credit preferred.

Guide Patients Through Treatment

  • Present treatment plans in a compassionate, confident, and educational manner.
  • Explain insurance benefits, financial estimates, and available payment options.
  • Remove financial barriers by helping patients find solutions that fit their needs.
  • Follow up with patients who have unscheduled treatment and encourage them to prioritize their oral health.
  • Track treatment acceptance and contribute to practice growth.

Scheduling & Office Coordination

  • Schedule treatment efficiently while supporting provider productivity and patient convenience.
  • Coordinate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.
  • Assist with insurance verification, benefit breakdowns, and pre-authorizations as needed.
