The Line Cook follows recipes, maintains high food safety and sanitation standards, and contributes to a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen operation.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards.Ensure all food is cooked and served in a timely manner during service.Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, equipment, and kitchen areas.Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations.Assist with prep work, including chopping, portioning, marinating, and other tasks as assigned.Communicate effectively with management, supervisors, and other team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.Monitor food and ingredient levels; alert supervisors when supplies are low.Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.Support teammates as needed to ensure guest satisfaction and efficient service.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or equivalent.Must be at least 18 years of agePrevious experience as a line cook, prep cook, or in a similar role is preferred but not always required.Basic knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety, and sanitation standards.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and attention to detail.Strong teamwork and communication skills.Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs. as needed.Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Must be able to lift up to 50 poundsAble to tolerate extreme temperaturesSignificant standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling
