Job description

Beechmont Country Club is seeking a Director of Outside Operations/Caddy Master! Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service.

Position Overview:
The Golf Operations Manager acts as a member of the Professional Staff and the leader of the Outside Golf Operations Team in the management of the day-to-day outside golf operations of the facility. The Golf Operations Manager will work closely with the Head Golf Professional to accomplish short- and long-term goals of Beechmont Country Club. All duties of the position shall be performed with a commitment to the highest level of customer service and total satisfaction for members and guests.
Essential Characteristics:
  • A very outgoing, accommodating person with very high-level name and face recognition skills.
  • A commitment to consistently meeting and exceeding the expectations of the position.
  • Ability to interpret and enforce club rules in a confident, yet cordial and disarming approach.
  • A desire to provide first-class service to members and guests and the ability to "find a way to say yes."
  • Experience in the club environment, preferably outside operations and caddie program management.
  • Competency in using computer programs for billing, booking, and analysis.
  • Ability to handle member/guest billing, financial, and statistical reconciliations.
  • The ability to complete job tasks in the most efficient form possible, so all members and guests receive the appropriate level of attention.
  • The desire to be part of a team that strives to improve ourselves, our co-workers, and our club daily.
Essential Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Caddie Operations
  • Manage and organize the caddie schedule.
  • Communicate with the membership regarding caddie policies and the fee schedule.
  • Assign loops to caddies while satisfying member requests.
  • Ensure caddie round tracking is accurate and matches payroll.
Golf Operations
  • Manage the Golf Operations staff in all aspects of the operation, including the bag room, practice facility, golf cart, and caddie areas.
  • Maintain a welcoming and positive attitude to promote a quality golf experience to members and guests and to enrich the work environment for team members.
  • Conduct oneself in a professional manner and maintain a professional image at all times.
  • Organize cart and caddie assignments for daily member golf activity and outings.
  • Assist in the promotion, planning, organization, and execution of the highest quality golf events for members, guests, and outside entities.
  • Assist with all opening and closing procedures.
  • Train and supervise Golf Operations Staff to the end of ensuring the highest quality customer experience.
  • Manage staff in operations of the golf cart fleet, cart barn, practice facilities, bag room, and valet services.
 
Experience:
Private Club and Caddie Management Experience is preferred.
 
Compensation:
$32,000
 
Schedule:
(Roughly 40-50 Hours per Week)
